Photography

It is April's keen sense of human nature that helps her to create portraits that are just as unique as her subjects. She has often said that she does not see the perfect image when she captures it, but rather feels it.

"It's the way a mother breathes in her newborn baby as if he was her air... the way a husband looks at his wife of 40 years as if today was the first day they met... the way an older sister watches over her younger sibling... the way a father can tell a story that gets the whole family giggling. Those are the moments, that as parents, we wish to preserve – forever ingrained in our memories."

Hand-Editing

Every photograph begins with being intricately hand-edited by our in-house professional graphic artist – down to every eyelash! Each individual image is artfully adjusted and edited so not a single detail is missed. That means you will receive a perfect image every time.

Portrait albums and boxes, Christmas cards, invitations, etc. are all custom designed to suit your style and the images you have chosen.

Digital Under-Painting

Mixed media pieces are then painted digitally by April. Every piece goes through its own digital painting process to ensure individual aspects of the portraits are properly highlighted. The end result is totally unique to your portrait and is the beginning of the heritage artwork.

Oil embellishment

The process of creating these stunning mixed media pieces requires unique artistry. After the editing and digital painting is complete, your portraits are glicee printed onto linen canvas and stretched onto a wooden frame. We oversee every step of the production process, ensuring it is perfect in every way.

Once the artwork is ready to be painted, April masterfully oil embellishes your portrait, every brush stroke adding richness and depth, making the painting come to life and elevating your legacy wall art.

Framing

Like a piece of statement jewelry to complete a look, a frame is the final touch to completing your artwork. Our collection of frames has been hand-chosen by the artist to perfectly compliment the portraiture with beautiful variety to ensure it matches your personal home decor and style.

Installation

Once your framed artwork is ready for delivery, April will come to your house with her installer to ensure that your piece is hung in the perfect place in your home and ready for you to enjoy and to share with family and friends.
