With a background in fashion design, most of the costumes in her fairytale genre are designed by April herself. She often describes her pieces as being “art from the start.” From designing the costuming used in her fairytale genre of work, to curating beautiful sets, exclusive locations and fine clothing for her sessions to oil painting each portrait herself, April’s artist hand is felt in every facet of her work.
